Theater Classes

Classes for children and adults in acting, dance, singing, and other areas of performance and technical aspects of production are offered for 8 weeks in the fall. Each class is $65 for the 8-week session.

Educational Outreach

Coming soon! We intend to develop condensed Shakespeare performances and dramatized stories of famous Americans that will visit schools and classrooms across the North Shore as an enhancement to students’ regular curriculum.

Children’s Theater

Coming soon! We hope to offer plays and musicals that engage our younger audience members in productions that are designed specifically for families. In addition, we plan to develop a children’s theater program in which children can participate as actors and technicians in their own productions.

Senior Citizens

Shakespeare Staged Readings for Senior Citizens is a program that meets once a week for 8 weeks to cast, read, and stage a 60-90-minute performance from one of Shakespeare’s comedies. No experience or memorization required! Offered in January and February 2023 at the Ipswich Council on Aging.
